If we as a common people from  Africa we should not allow a representative of a nation that tolerates slavery. Such a leader should not be given an opportunity to be the head of he AU, Maurtania has been tolerating this practice post abolishment of slavery. The person I am speaking of at this moment is Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.
